Parents will learn to cope with topics including drugs, violence and sex, and to defuse power struggles with their children, stimulate healthy independence as their children grow, and encourage children to be their best without imposing unrealistic expectations, class organizers say. Learn CPR/first aidFirst aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes will be offered in November at the College of Southern Idaho:
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday.
• Combined CPR and first aid, 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 14.
• CPR for health care providers, 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 28.
The classes are beginning and refresher courses for the public, health care providers and others whose jobs require them to have or to update their lifesaving skills.
