Edith Ward would uphold traditional American values
My name is Edith Ward, and I am running as a Republican precinct committee woman in Precinct No. 14.
I was born and raised at Dietrich and attended school there. I have lived in Twin Falls County for 45 years and love our wonderful county and its people.
I have raised four sons, who have good professions. I have nine grandchildren, of which three are in the U.S. Army. A granddaughter has served in Afghanistan and is being deployed to Iraq this month. Two grandsons, one has been to Iraq and the younger brother is there at this time.
I have always been a Republican and vote for conservative issues and for conservative candidates at the county, state and national level. I uphold traditional marriage and family values, defend America's values, keep God in the pledge of allegiance, defend Second Amendment rights, stop reckless spending - including foreign aid - and take care of America's needs, and support high standards in education, including encouragement of private schools and home schooling. I support our military men and women who give their all for us and foreign countries. I also support protecting our borders.
Feel free to contact me with questions regarding my stand on issues important to you. My e-mail is: eknowles1619@juno.com.
In closing, I respectfully request your vote for Edith Ward, GOP precinct committee woman, Precinct No. 14, on Tuesday, May 27.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
