There's apparently a serial streaker in Sun Valley ...

According to the Idaho Mountain Express, Sun Valley Co. security reported that a man ran naked through the new Sun Valley Pavilion early Tuesday. He did the same about a week earlier, Sun Valley Police Chief Cameron Daggettsaid ...

"We gave some extra patrols but we never did catch the guy." ...

NOTHING BUT AIR. Doug Maughan of Twin Falls laments the high cost of inflation ...

"So much for the idea of peace, love, and understanding that the Hollies pitched in the '70s with 'The Air That I Breathe,'" Maughan said. "These days, that air costs ya' 75 cents! 75 cents? C'mon! My bike tires were a little flabby as I cruised down Blue Lakes ... But I decided to let 'em stay that way as I pedaled into one gas station after another in search of free air." ...

QUOTE OF THE WEEK: From Twin Falls Mayor Lance Clow, explaining that the percentage increase in the city budget for next year is misleading:

"Technically, our budget is up 21.6 percent because that is what we're going tospend ..."

Clow went on to say that many taxpayers interpret that as a 21.6 percent increase in taxes or fees, which isn't the case ...

The executive director of the Idaho Values Alliance called on the owners of the seven Treasure Valley Hallmark stores to refuse to stock Hallmark's new line of greeting cards for gay couples getting married ....

The cards feature two tuxedos and either overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers ...

"Hallmark is doing what 48 states and the federal government have refused to do, and that is to recognize homosexual marriage." ...

IVA campaigns against same-sex marriage and abortion ...

"... it would just be smart for the owners to ... only honor natural marriage in their stores," Fischer said ...
