Ketchum chef teaches tapas in Twin Falls
Times-News
Argentina-born chef Nadina Keller will teach a cooking class titled "Tapas - Small Plates for Entertaining" in downtown Twin Falls next week.
It's set for 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 8 at Rudy's - A Cook's Paradise, 147 Main Ave. W. in Twin Falls. Cost is $40.
Tapas are appetizers for interactive entertaining or for serving together to make an eclectic meal. Keller brings experience from Cristina's and the prestigious Les Maison in her native Argentina to this traditional Spanish cuisine, a Rudy's announcement said.
The class menu: empanadas; calamari in saffron; flank steak with chimichurri; piquillos with serrano ham; and Manchego gratin with quince paste.
Over the past two decades, Keller has traveled and trained in South America and the U.S., and has lived in Ketchum for the past 10 years. After serving as head of the catering department for Cristina's Restaurant, Keller is now chef and owner of Sayvour, a catering and personal chef company.
