Twin Falls woman was killed Friday night in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 93 near the Nevada state line, according to the Idaho State Police.

Cecilia Cornelison, 43, was driving south near mile post 1 on Highway 93 in a 2000 Volkswagen Bug when she attempted to pass a semi-truck and collided with a northbound 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Shayleen Rambur, 31, also of Twin Falls.

ISP responded to the scene at 6:30 p.m. where Cornelison died of injuries from the accident. Rambur and her passenger were both transported by air ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center. Their condition was not given by the ISP.

ISP was assisted at the scene by Elko County Sheriff and Twin Falls County Sheriff deputies.

The crash is still under investigation by Trooper Troy Debie with assistance from Sgt. K. Haight.
