Maybe it's not shame on us. Maybe its that we are tired of the political mess and drama. We were asked to vote on a jail without having any specifics of how this will be paid for. We all know about the lease with the building, but what about staffing and are there any beds sold to other counties to fund this project? Seems like if you wanna pass something these days, you better have facts on how your paying for what you want. Otherwise dont waste the tax payers time to come and vote. With the goverment smoke screens of where our money is going now days, local politics better wise up and take notice. If you want something, be open and up front with everything.

I guess this is a great example of your vote does count. How embarrasing that only 22 percent of the registred voters got out there and excersized their right to vote. The rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves. A vote that close!!! If aproximately 11 more people voted "YES" it would have passed.

How many of you actually drove by your polling place and didn't stop? All I have to say is "Shame, shame, shame on those of you who were to lazy or busy, that you couldn't have taken a few minutes out of your day to vote.
