CSI holds annual baseball camp
TWIN FALLS - The annual Southern Idaho Baseball Camp will be held De. 27-29 at the College of Southern Idaho. The instructional camp focus on hitting, fielding, catching and pitching. The staff includes college and professional coaches and players.

Burley G.C. offers winter rates
BURLEY - Burley Golf Course will offer winter rates beginning Monday. Green fees will be $7 for nine holes and $12 for 18. Carts are $6 per nine holes per person. The course will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

S.I. volleyball club tryouts change
TWIN FALLS - The Southern Idaho Volleyball Club will hold open tryouts from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran School gymnasium in Twin Falls. There will be no tryouts at Canyon Ridge High School as originally planned.
Registration begins at 6:45 p.m. The tryout is open to interested players in grades 7-12. The tryout fee is $10.
Southern Idaho Volleyball Club competes within the Intermountain Volleyball Association. There will be an estimated five tournaments that will involve weekend travel. Club Canyon volleyball tryouts set
JEROME - Jim Cartisser's Club Canyon volleyball tryouts will be from Monday through Wednesday at the Jerome Recreational Facility.
Players in grades 7-8 may try out from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, for the 14U team. Registration runs from 4 to 4:45 p.m.
Players in grades 9-12 may try out from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 11, for the 16U and 18U squads. Registration begins at 6:45.

The Idaho Stampede and the Utah Flash of the NBA Development League will play an exhibition game Monday, Nov. 23 at Burley High School. TWIN FALLS - Youth tennis lessons will be offered in a five-week clinic at the YMCA on Elizabeth Boulevard. The cost is $100. The clinic will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Nov. 9 through Dec. 17 for beginners ages 11-16 and from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Nov. 10 through Dec. 18 for high school players ages 14-16. Register at the YMCA.

CSI holds tourney brunches
TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho athletic department will hold a brunch at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Turf Club in connection with the men's and women's basketball tournaments that weekend. A second brunch will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 at the Turf Club. Each luncheon is $5 per person. Coaches from all the participating teams will give a brief overview of their teams. TWIN FALLS - Blue Ribbon Training will offer Horsemanship School for children and adults. The children's school will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13, at Silver Tree Indoor Arena. Harlem Ambassadors come to CRHS
TWIN FALLS - The Harlem Ambassadors basketball team will play at 7 p.m., Nov. 18, at Canyon Ridge High School in Twin Falls. Proceeds benefit the local Habitat for Humanity. The Ambassadors, a traveling team akin to the Harlem Globetrotters, will face a team of local community members and will be available for autographs following the game.

TWIN FALLS - Twin Falls Parks and Recreation will hold a preschool basketball program for boys and girls ages 4-5. The program will run on Saturdays from 2 to 2:45 p.m., from Nov. 7 through Dec. 5 and will introduce fundamentals of basketball in a non-competitive environment. The cost is $25 for those in the city limits and $35 outside city limits.

Funds sought to improve JHS field
JEROME - Jerome High School senior Mackenzie Ingraham is leading a project to raise money to install artificial turf at the Tigers' football stadium to benefit the football and soccer programs.
